My inspiration for the art of cutting hair comes from the visits that I made as a young boy to my uncles’ beauty salons in Mexico City.
I come from an extended family of barbers and hairstylists going all the way back to my Great Grandfather. Watching them taught me that getting a haircut is more than just cutting hair; it’s an art form.
I learned that every person has an individual look and style that requires a distinct approach. My Uncle saw that talent in me and spoke with my Father. After that conversation, my Father began to encourage me and was very supportive of becoming a Barber. Unfortunately, it took many years to happen, and my Father passed away before his, and my dream would come true.
In honor of his support and encouragement, my shop’s name comes from my Father’s signature, Fco. “Francisco” J. Flores A.
