My inspiration for the art of cutting hair comes from the visits that I made as a young boy to my uncles’ beauty salons in Mexico City. I come from an extended family of barbers and hairstylists going all the way back to my Great Grandfather. Watching them taught me that getting a haircut is more than just cutting hair; it’s an art form. I learned that every person has an individual look and style that requires a distinct approach. My Uncle saw that talent in me and spoke with my Father. After that conversation, my Father began to encourage me and was very supportive of becoming a Barber. Unfortunately, it took many years to happen, and my Father passed away before his, and my dream would come true.
